"I have a great career path success story! I started with Covance as a Medical Technologist in our Clinical Pathology area. My next role was as Study Technologist in our Clinical Pathology area. My next role was as Study Coordinator, and thanks to a terrific mentor, I was promoted to Study Director. I then went to the department that was the forerunner of Program Management, Team IND. The next steps on the course were Director of Client Services, then Director of QA, and finally, my role as a Program Manager."

"Covance's Study Director training is great! When a new person is hired, Covance puts them through an extensive four to six month training program. This training program is highly desirable to clients because Covance Study Directors are well trained to work on a variety of studies. Covance is also fabulous for supporting outside activities such as being on committees for national organizations, mentoring programs, Women's Leadership Networks, etc."

"I've only been with Covance for a year and already I am in a management training course. It's nice to be recognized for potential."

"There are many paths that people can take at Covance. If they want to stay in Study Direction, there are four levels; Study Director, Study Direction Manager, Associate Director, and Director. Another path is the "science track". This focuses on a specific scientific area, and allows people to build their own "mini-business unit" within Toxicology. another career path option is program management, which helps smaller clients get their molecule to humans."
