"Working as a monitor in Latin America is a very challenging and exciting experience. "In 2000, I graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology. I then started my first job in Clinical with Aventis Pharma working as a Clinical Project Assistant in their offices in West Malling, Kent. My first real CRA position was working with Innovex (field based) on a large, high profile phase IV Cardiovascular GP study, and from there I moved back to pharma working as a field based lead CRA with AstraZeneca for two and a half years. With a desire to move into an office based Project Management role, I took on the role of Senior CRA with Covance CRU Ltd in November 2006. Covance's reputation as a leading CRO, was very appealing, as were its training and development opportunities. And of course, location!

The People at Covance are also very approachable and helpful. The workload at Covance is challenging.
