There is no better way to learn than by doing. Covance’s internship program gives students the opportunity to learn in a challenging and supportive work environment.
Our internships are focused on:

Providing real industry work experience

• Interns work on projects related to their majors that are both challenging to the intern and valuable to the organization
• Each intern has a designated trainer/mentor – typically their supervisor – who is committed to training and developing the intern over the course of the internship

Developing strong presentation skills

• Requiring interns to deliver presentations at the conclusion of their internships allows them to demonstrate their achievements and gain confidence in presentation skills
• Interns deliver their presentations to their supervisors and senior management

Participating in a volunteer project or activity

• Devoting time to non-profit and volunteer organizations that Covance supports, helps interns understand the importance of working to better the communities in which they will live and work
• Each intern dedicates eight work-day hours toward this requirement
• A list is provided to the intern of all opportunities available for that term
